Amir al-Mu'minin (AS) delivered a sermon to the people on the day of Eid al-Fitr and said: O people! Today, the righteous are rewarded and the wrongdoers are in loss. Today is the day most similar to the Day of Resurrection. When you leave your homes to head to the prayer ground for the Eid prayer, and when you stand to perform the Eid al-Fitr prayer, remember the time when you will stand before God. And when you return to your homes, recall your return to your abodes in Paradise or Hell. Al-Amali (by al-Saduq), vol. 1, p. 100
